Cats and Bags (Halloween Edition)

These blogs came up at lunch today, so its time for a long awaited update. Once again we have an example of Madeleine not being able to keep secrets. It was Halloween, and I told everyone (except Derek) that while the party was not a costume party, I was dressing up as Derek for Halloween. (Gray hoodie sweatshirt, jeans, slip-on vans). I specifically said in the email something to the point of, "Don't tell Derek! Lets see if he notices".

Skip to the day of the party, Derek arrives, and the first thing Madeleine says to him was something like, "Derek! You and Asia match!"

Cats and Bags

It's hard keeping a secret around Madeleine. Once upon a time, there were a couple of entertaining blogs. (Yes, they still exist. Just go with it, I'm telling a story here.) Part of the humor in one of those blogs was that the person who was the main subject of the blog didn't know of its existence.

Madeleine told him.

Then there was the time when she convinced me to lie to the group about something irrelevant, then, after I told the lie, kept dropping hints until I told everyone she'd made it up. But that's another story...
